To be eligible, you must, among other things:
Be a member in good standing of Ensemble Montréal
Reside in the metropolis and have voter status
Complete the necessary forms for your candidacy
Submit the required support signatures

February 4, 2025: Launch of the leadership race
February 28, 2025: Candidate submission deadline
March 20, 2025: Deadline to become a Party member and be able to vote
March 31 to April 6, 2025: In-person voting period
April 6, 2025: Investiture Congress - Official leadership election

The leadership race is the process of electing the leader of Ensemble Montréal, a municipal political party. Once elected by Party members, this person becomes not only the representative of Ensemble Montréal, but also a candidate for Mayor of Montreal in the upcoming municipal elections on November 2, 2025. -
The Ensemble Montréal leader will be elected by members during an Investiture Congress, planned for April 6, 2025, at the end of the voting period.

To be eligible to vote in the leadership election, a person must:
Be a member in good standing of the Party by Thursday, March 20, 2025
Be on the Party's electoral list
Reside in one of the 19 boroughs of the City of Montreal
Voting takes place in person. A voting bureau will be available at the Party Headquarters from March 31 to April 5 between 9am and 5pm. Members can also vote during the Investiture Congress on April 6, 2025.
Final results will be revealed on April 6 during the Investiture Congress. -
To confirm that you are registered on the Party's electoral list, we invite you to call 514-903-1207 or write to info@ensemblemttl.org before March 20, 2025, otherwise you may not be able to exercise your right to vote.

Since voting is in person, you will not be able to vote if you are not available to move to the designated voting locations during the voting period between March 31 and April 6, 2025.

To support a candidate, you can first become a member of Ensemble Montréal to participate in the leadership vote. You also have the possibility of becoming a volunteer and providing your help on the ground or online, by contributing to the electoral campaign and making your candidate's vision known around you. Finally, you can make a donation to concretely support their campaign and our actions on the ground.
